A key component of improving mental health is becoming a scientist of yourself, which starts with collecting important data. The CAL STAR Stress Tracker allows you to track your stress with a simple, one question survey everyday so you can reflect on what might cause, or reduce, your stress. Additionally, you can join a group (e.g., family, friends, team, work group) to allow an easy way to communicate how stressed you are and to check in on others. This communication can be made even easier by enabling “Stress Alerts” so that someone is flagged whenever a group member is reporting very high stress. Finally, you can use the Stress Map to compare geographic differences in stress.
